BASE

MasterFile BASE is composed of two distinct areas: a basic fund database and a document repository that allows you to manage your full range of funds in one single secured repository.

Basic Fund Database

You can manage your funds through an online interface, or by importing preformatted CSV (Comma Separated Value) files composed of 6 Basic mandatory fields (ISIN code – Umbrella name – Fund name – Sub-fund name – Fund name including class (share class) - Countries of registration). You can set up specific rules and address e-mail notifications for data validation.
Fund data may be also exported from the database in CSV format through user-defined export templates.

Document repository

Based on your own fund's architecture document's, you can upload and store any kind of document at any level of your funds structure. You manage document accesses and set up validation rules within your organization. In addition, you can also schedule the document's availability. In addition, the Platform guarantees full tracking and versioning information on each document.
All Fund data and documents remains in your private area.

PASSPORT

In addition to the features described in MasterFile BASE, you have the possibility to push operational fund data (FPP) to the public through the www.fundpassport.com portal and request ISIN codes for your Luxembourg-domiciled funds.
The ready-to-use PASSPORT field subset is fully compliant with the EFAMA FPP standard. Share classes that you tag as 'public' are automatically replicated on www.fundpassport.com and therefore freely accessible to the public.
You can fill and update your MasterFile database online through import templates. As you may allocate specific access rights and notification and validation rules per Template, the number of Templates is unlimited. Data integrity and safety is guaranteed by the use of the Template used for the initial share class data upload.
You can also manage who has access to data, as well as template validation rules down to the field level.
Should you decide to declare “public” a current “private” share class, a specific validation rule is automatically activated preventing unwished data divulgation.
You can also prepare and have your data validated and keep them ready for publication using the data publication scheduler.

ISIN code request for Luxembourg domiciled funds.

Based on a ready-to-use lightened FPP Subset of data you can request ISIN codes for your Luxembourg domiciled funds to the Luxembourg Security Numbering Agency Clearstream Banking Luxembourg S.A. and monitor their status online.

SPOTLIGHT

In addition to the features described in MasterFile BASE and MasterFile PASSPORT above, you can enrich the information you are eventually pushing to the public through www.fundpassport.com by adding several fields coveted by distributors. If declared “public” in your Templates, these data will be replicated on www.fundpassport.com and automatically allocated to its most meaningful Group of Fields.

FLEX

This module offers the possibility to manage your private fund date and documents according to the features described above in MasterFile BASE. On the data front, you can create an unlimited number of fields according to predefined formats that you will include in Templates to meet your internal needs. These Templates shall contain the six mandatory fields mentioned in MasterFile BASE plus the selection of your internal fields.
You can also configure document and data accesses via the Templates but unlike MasterFile UNIVERSAL, your FLEX fields remain private (cannot be published on Fundpassport.com).

Combines all the features described in the 4 package above in a UNIVERSAL application that serves both your internal and external audiences.
This package allows you also to enrich the information available on www.fundpassport.com by adding your own fields and allocate them to field groups.
